TURKEY (or CHICKEN) DRESSING

6 c. corn bread
1 ½ bread crumbs (about 6 slices)
1 lb. sausage, cooked, mashed and browned (I have used turkey sausage instead of pork.)
1 c. celery (or ½ c. celery and ½ c. bell pepper)
1 ½ c. onion, cooked in sausage drippings
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. sage
Dash of pepper
1 c. butter
4 eggs, beaten
1-3 boiled eggs, diced into small pieces
Water (if needed – use drippings from meat if possible)

Mix all ingredients. Place in 14 x 9 x 1 ½ inch baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
